Karen Lau, a SPCS alumni in the Class of 1998 (F5) and 2000 (F7), a teacher at St. Paul’s Convent School and a member of the SPCS Alumni Choir, was diagnosed with Stage Four CIC-rearranged sarcoma, which is very aggressive and rare. Despite all the obstacles during treatment, Karen is staying brave and positive. Karen have strong faith in God that miracles do happen each day and is living her life to the fullest everyday. A group of Paulinians has organised a call with Karen in a zoom meeting at 8pm on Saturday, 10 April 2021 and Karen is happy to extend the invitation to all Paulinians who wish to join. On this International Women’s Day, share your humanity and join this call to show your care and support to this strong and courageous Paulinian during the most difficult time of her life. You are welcome to join whether you are Karen’s classmate, student or if you do not know her but just want to show your support to her.
