Mentoring Programme
The Alumni Association of St. Paul’s Convent School (“AASPCS”) works closely with St. Paul’s Convent School (“SPCS”) to provide mentoring opportunities to existing students. Mentoring opportunities can take different forms, for instance, job shadowing, mock interviews and sharing sessions and are invaluable learning opportunities for our young Paulinians.
Mentoring Volunteer Form
Alumni who are interested in providing mentoring opportunities are welcome to fill out the mentoring volunteer form.
Job Shadowing
AASPCS invites alumni to provide mentoring opportunities to existing SPCS students. It would be an ideal opportunity for SPCS students to be able to join your company for around one to five days, between mid-July and the end of August. It is especially meaningful when there are industry experts who can share their work and life experiences with the students. Please see previous reports by students at https://spcscareers.wixsite.com/careersteam/job-shadowing-new .
If you are interested in providing job shadowing opportunities, we strongly encourage you to fill out our mentoring volunteer form, or contact SPCS’s Higher Education and Careers Counsellor, Catherine Kwan, by e-mail at spcsck@spcs.edu.hk or by telephone at 9160-2322 directly with the following information:
- your preferred dates, time and duration of the job shadowing
- the number of students you wish to take on
- what type of students you prefer
- the address of the job shadowing
- working hours
- any dress code
- any specific needs
SPCS will try their best to match students with your proposed date and requirements as much as possible.
We thank you for your support.
